How to Think to Succeed: the Science of Results Oriented Thinking

In the science of results oriented thinking we learn that thinking is the most powerful tool available to you to help you succeed and create your life with. It is the inventor of all ideas, all riches, all wealth and can even turn a Doctors death sentence into a miraculous recovery. Your thinking is attached to your mind and its ability to create heaven or hell. It can unleash the joys and riches of the universe or keep you in the deepest pit of depression and poverty. Your thinking can fill you with joy or eat you up with rage and anger.

In the science of results oriented thinking you learn that your thinking habits were developed in your childhood. You learned to think by watching parents, authority figures and caretakers react and respond in the world. You developed habits of thinking, responding and actioning. In the science of results oriented thinking you learn that these habits are just something you learned not who you are. Yet, these habits will determine what your life will be like forever unless some fundamental change happens to your thinking. Most of the thinking style we learn growing up is lack thinking, negative or limited thinking habits. There are actually 6 widely used and deadly yet, accepted negative thinking and speaking habits. Becoming aware of the habit you use and learning something new will help you.

Your thinking habits will determine your self-esteem. Your self-esteem will determine what you think you are worthy of and what you think you are capable of achieving. Those self-worth thoughts create the life you believe you can manifest and will produce evidence of your beliefs and level of self-worth thinking, in the form of where you live, your physical health, how much money you make, who you are friends with and how your relationships develop. You will manifest the life that you believe you can manifest. In your mind this validates what you think is true and this continues the cycle. You can be caught in a cycle of self sabotage for the rest of your life if you do not do something different.

Most often, how people move from this self-sabotaging to self-esteem to I’m worthy trap, is by tackling one goal at a time and this shifts the thought habit pattern, upon the successful completion of a goal. The successful completion of a goal, say getting a college degree, buys or gives you more self-worth so that you can change the way you think about yourself. When you change the way you think your life changes, because thinking is a tool, not who you are. You are not the sad, fearful or angry thought you just had, that is merely something you are experiencing because of the thought you just exposed yourself to.

This form of trying to develop enough self-worth so that your thinking supports your best life is slow and in my opinion not healthy or real. If you want to think to win, you must first detach from the self-esteem equals (What I think of myself + my successes + validation from others – my screw ups = what I am worthy of) equation. You must move into neutral which means there is non judgmental being-ness and ability and what you tell your being-ness will either empower or impair your abilities to achieve a desired outcome.

You are born (what ever “worthy” is) because you are born on the planet. You are “worthy” because you are a child of God, the universe, or Great Spirit whatever you want to call it. In my reality “you are worthy” does not even exist. In fact, “you are worthy” is a lack thinking negative thought that helps you continue thinking that you have to have buy or earn a sense of self-esteem or worth in order to succeed or have what you desire.

When we use the science of results oriented thinking we utilize thinking tools in a different form. We utilize self-command to help us begin to unravel the habit of letting our thinking just happen to us and we transition into commanding our thinking. We utilize power thoughts, explorative thoughts and inspired thought to help us become empowered in our hearts, turn on our personal drive and feed our bodies empowering chemicals that helps us release the genius within us. We tap into the field of possibilities with the miracle thinking which helps us live our best life.

Learning to think “to be successful,” means learning to think in a different way. It means challenging what you think you know and inviting you to empower yourself because thinking is a tool that provides healthy nutrients, drive and miraculous outcomes to your life. So learn how to think healthy and think to create the life you wish to experience

Can lamps bought in the US be used in UK with 220V power , unlike the 110V here, without a transformer.,?

I am moving to the UK and want to take a long the wonderful Verilux natural light bedside lamps I have. Am just wondering if these lamps can be used without a transformer – as as you have fdeduced, I am not an “electricaly oriented” nor have any knowledge. Thanks

in addition to bill’s answer, it the lamp uses any kind of electronic dim control, there is a great possibility that the electronic is going to fail once connected to double voltage

How to maintain, clean, and keep your Oriental Rug looking at its best

You’ve just bought an Oriental rug and it really ties the room together. Now you probably want your new rug to last years to come. No problem. You just have to follow a few simple instructions in order to make the most out of your rug’s life and durability.

Of course that there are some issues that can not be avoided. Rugs, unlike most of our purchases, are made to be walked on. So the best and first thing to do is to ask your family to remove their shoes while in the house. Most of the dirt and wear of rugs is a direct result of the surprises we carry on our soles (by the way in Persia, nobody keeps their shoes on while inside).

But still, there are guests and pets and kids and food and you don’t really know what the cat’s going to drag in tomorrow.

Rotate

Although Oriental carpets come from a land of a thousand suns, rugs do not like direct sunlight and they tend to fade out. So just like you do with your mattress, try to rotate the carpet from time to time and prevent wear and color fade from happening in the same areas. Rotating a carpet a couple of times a year can help you maintain the rug’s value and look.

Vacuum Regularly

Vacuum rugs often, and do it on both sides. Try to use the vacuum nozzle instead of a beater bar and whatever you do – don’t shake them! Shaking Oriental Rugs leads to thread and knots damage. When you vacuum, don’t skip areas that are hidden under furniture. Moths love those dark, quiet places and moths’ eggs just love to consume rugs.

Know Rug First Aid

There’s nothing to do about it – sooner or later a glass of wine will spill, coffee will drip, the kid’s soda, and the dog that couldn’t wait… It is very important to master the rules of rug first-aid and act as quickly as humanly possible in order to prevent stains and heavy smells. Before the spill begins to dry, clean the area with a wet paper towel. Then use a mix of water and vinegar if you want to prevent color damage.

Get a Rug Pad

A rug pad is also recommended and can help prevent slippage, act as a buffer to minimize abrasion and protect your floors. A good quality pad will also provide airflow between your floor and the rug and airflow allows the rug to breathe, which in turn will extend the rug’s life. Rug pads may also prevent the crushing and wearing of pile after heavy use.

Original Oriental rugs can be a smart investment if you keep them in a good shape. Your rug will increase in value, since well maintained rugs are harder and harder to find these days. If you still need help with your rug cleaning or restoration, turn to a professional Oriental rug dealer such as www.1800GeatA Rug.com where you will find experienced importers and wholesalers of beautiful rugs from all over the world.

Best chicago neighborhood for young married couples?

My husband and I are moving to Chicago this summer. We come from Ohio and this will be a big change for us. We are so overwhelmed with the apartment search. We honestly don’t know where to begin. We are looking for a safe and semi-quiet neighborhood where it’s easy walking distance to grocery stores, shops, restaurants, coffeehouses, etc. We don’t drink so bars are not needed. We’d like to live in a more “family-oriented” neighborhood since we plan on starting a family in a few years. Any help would be great because this search is so overhwleming!

As half of a young married couple myself, I’d say Lincoln Square or someplace around the Southport Corridor. Both are on the North Side of the city. Lincoln Square is a little further north and a little bit west. Both have cute shops and restaurants. There are also a good number of families in both areas. The Southport Corrider is technically part of Lakeview but it’s one of the tamer sections (as opposed to Wrigleyville).

I’d also suggest Andersonville for all the reasons the other posters have mentioned. It’s actually pretty close to Southport and Lincoln Square so you can’t go wrong with either of the neighborhoods.

Single family houses in all three neighborhoods are relatively expensive (starting at $800k) but you can find a 3 bedroom for around $450-$500k.

Using a korean laptop in North America? voltage question?

When I came to Korea, I brought my laptop with me.. I just bought a plug adapter and it worked perfectly for over 6 months. This week, I spilled water on my keyboard and my computer died.

I need to get a new one, but I don’t know if it will be convenient to buy a korean computer. Even though they sell the adapters too, my korean teacher living in Mexico told me that she bought a rice cooker in Korea and took it home, and even though she was able to use it with the adapter, her electricity bill went off the roof because the korean appliances use higher voltage, so I don’t know if this would happen too if I bought a computer here.

Should I instead try to buy an american laptop or is there any way I can make sure the laptop will work perfectly in America too?
I still have 6 months to go here, so I can’t wait to get one back home

using an adapter will be fine. however, laptops tend to be cheaper in the states (during sales, especially) than in korea. if you plan to go back to the states soon, just wait and buy one there. take care.

Just the name “Orient Express” conjures images of a bygone era. Add an all-star cast (including Sean Connery, Ingrid Bergman, Jacqueline Bisset, and Lauren Bacall, to name a few) and Agatha Christie’s delicious plot and how can you go wrong? Particularly if you add in Albert Finney as Christie’s delightfully persnickety sleuth, Hercule Poirot. Someone has knocked off nasty Richard Widmark on this …

Diamond Watches

Diamonds are beautiful jewels and are used in many types of jewelry from diamond necklaces to diamond rings to diamond watches. They are becoming more and more popular with both men and women due to the fact that they do not have to be too flashy. Both men and women continually look for new ways to use diamonds. Diamonds are not a rarity by any means. They are very easy to find and purchase.

The diamond watch is becoming more and more popular. They have become less expensive. It is also easier for consumers to find diamond watches. Diamond watches are something that both men and women can wear. The diamond watches are made in many sizes, shapes and styles. The prices of diamond watches vary just about as much as the styles do.

There are diamond watches that can be worn by women out on the track. These diamond watches are a way of showing that women can wear the diamond watches even when they are active. This type of diamond watch functions just like any other sport watch, but it has the diamonds and looks a bit nicer than the typical sport watch.

Women still wear the classic style of diamond watch. This type of diamond watch is typically worn for a nice evening out on the town. Some of the popular brands that make the classic style of diamond watch include Rolex, Seiko, Citizen, Omega, Bulova, and Cartier.

Men are sporting diamond watches more and more. The diamond watch for men is distinguished and beautiful at the same time. Many of the same dealers that make women’s’ diamond watches also make men’s diamond watches. So men’s diamond watches are just as readily available as women’s diamond watches. The dealers do not make men’s diamond watches to look the same as women’s diamond watches, though. The men’s diamond watch is larger and more masculine looking. They look more powerful looking than a woman’s diamond watch.

When purchasing a diamond watch it is important to know what you are getting. You want to know the quality of the diamonds in the diamond watch you are purchasing. Price and quality do not always match when it comes to diamond watches. Purchasing a more expensive diamond watch does not necessarily mean that you are purchasing high quality diamonds. Instead of looking at the price of diamond watches, be sure to purchase your diamond watch through a reputable dealer.

Whether you are a man or a woman you can find a diamond watch to fit your personality and lifestyle. A diamond watch is sure to be in style as long as man continues to exist. Diamond watches step a wardrobe up a notch from ho hum to ooh nice. It does not matter how much money you make, you can find a diamond watch from a reputable dealer that will fit into your budget. Go out and shop for your diamond watch. Watch and see for your self how a diamond watch can enhance your wardrobe step up the excitement in your life.

Canon Imagerunner 600 – Corporate Level Copy Machine

When your business cannot function with a simple medium level multifunction center alone, a digital production system such as the high end Canon ImageRunner 600 should be considered. This corporate level machine delivers speed and consistency that personal units cannot match, such as a swift 60 pages per minute print speed, and 60 copies per minute as well. At one page every second with a low warm up time, the unit offers professional unrivaled professional quality.

Most machines slow down drastically when adjusted to print at high resolution, but not the Canon ImageRunner 600. Even when bumped up to hi res 1200 x 600 dots per inch, the unit still maintains 60 pages per minute. It can even utilize double sided duplex printing at this speed, meaning your double sided prints will not only save you paper and overall operating cost, they will also virtually double your total data output with no loss in speed.

An extensive list of convenient and powerful features includes a Scan Once, Print Many function which involves storing scanned data in the on board memory for multiple copy use, even with other jobs in between. Automatic page orientation rotates scanned images to match the proper orientation of the out coming page, while Smart Scan page recognition automatically recognizes page orientation based on text, meaning if one of your documents is upside down, it will reproduce in the Canon ImageRunner 600 right side up.

Copy Reservation also utilizes the on board memory, storing entire copy jobs while others are being processed and executed. When a saddle stitching hardware add on is implemented, the built inautomatic page impositioning software can automatically position your input data in the correct order for publication, saving the user time on carefully ordering their pamphlets for print.

The Canon ImageRunner 600 comes with an easy to read LCD monitor that assists users in setting up a total of 100 confidential, personal mailboxes that allow individuals to manage their own data independently and keep it private as well. 100 on line forms can also be stored in the built in memory, and optional finishing hardware add ons can execute amazing finishing touches, including automatic stapling, three hole punching, saddle stitching, and Z folding.

Other additional hardware options include a 3,500 sheet paper deck which, on top of the unit’s standard dual 1,500 sheet front loading trays, and dual front loading cassettes of 550 sheets each, plus a 50 sheet bypass tray, brings the units total potential paper storage capacity to an impressive 7,650 sheets.

Oddly, the Canon ImageRunner 600’s warm up time is absolutely atrocious, clocking in at a sluggish five minutes. Once warmed up, however, the unit pulls off a rapid first print speed of six seconds when utilizing the 100 sheet automatic document feeder. Single pass copies will run a fraction of a second slower. Still, the overall speed and power of the unit is impressive in all categories. When an extremely high output machine is a must for your small to large scale office, the Canon ImageRunner 600 is hard to top for expandability, and performance.

Tissot’s T-Touch Collection Brings 21St Century Technology To Watches

The watches in the Tissot’s T-Touch series are unmistakable innovative timepieces that bring 21st century technology to the world of watches. Every watch in the series has a crystal that, when activated by the crown, allows wearers to trigger a vast variety of features simply by touching different parts of the crystal.

The T-Touch is the flagship watch in Tissot’s collection. Offered in eight different styles, ranging from the Platinum with an alligator leather strap to the racing-inspired NASCAR version, every watch aficionado can find a T-Touch that suits his taste. The T-Touch features eight different precision functions: a Barometer mode to measure atmospheric changes; a Meteo mode that indicates the meteorological trend; a Thermometer mode measures the outside temperature; an Altimeter mode tracks the height above sea level; a Compass mode for navigation; a Chronograph mode good to 1/100th of a second; an easy to use 24 hour Alarm mode; and of course a mode for keeping regular time.

Tissot calls the T-Touch Expert the “next of kin” to the T-Touch with good reason. This XL-sized watch features all the functions of the T-Touch while throwing in a few extras that would make any outdoorsman happy. The Meteo function can display both the relative and absolute barometric pressure. The Compass mode works as both a regular compass and as an azimuth, showing the current heading at 12 o’clock and north with the minute hand. Lastly, the Chronograph mode adds the ability to countdown from the current time, which can be set in hours, minutes, or seconds.

The Sea-Touch keeps the Chronograph, Thermometer, Compass, and Alarm modes, but exchanges the rest found on the T-Touch for dive-oriented functions. It has a Dive mode, which not only tracks the depth of dives, but also starts automatically 5 seconds after a dive limit of 1 meter is reached. Tissot also added a Log mode that automatically saves dive depths and times.

The T-Navigator is the traveler’s best friend. The Alarm mode is kept, and the timer function found on the T-Touch expert is separated from the Chronograph mode to be an independent function. Tissot added the ability to switch between 4 time zones outside of the local time and a calendar, making this the ideal watch for any man on the go. The last watch in Tissot’s T-Touch line is the Silen-T. Instead of having multiple functions, the Silen-T utilizes the T-Touch technology in a truly innovative way. Wears can read or set the time simply by touching the crystal. The crystal vibrates in response to touch, making it a perfect watch for both the visually impaired and man who needs to remain inconspicuous while knowing the time.

In all, the T-Touch collection by Tissot demonstrates an inventive use of 21st century technology to bring a vast array of features that can suit almost anyone’s needs.

The Samsung Blackjack Sgh-i607

If you have even a passing interest in the topic of the samsung blackjack phone, then you should take a look at the following information. This enlightening article presents some of the latest news on the subject of the samsung blackjack phone.

Samsung Blackjack

Samsung has a long-standing reputation for innovation, and this month they’ve really outdone themselves. Between the new Chinese Smartphone (Samsung i718 unveiled at the Hong Kong ITU Telecom World Expo), the Samsung Blackjack (SGH-i607, from Cingular) and the SPH-B5800 with real-time traffic reporting (released in Korea this week), Samsung is proving why innovation is their middle name. The traffic phone (with GPS) and the Chinese Smartphone won’t be available in the U.S. for a while, but the Blackjack was released in mid-November. Take a look at some of its best features.

Samsung SGH-i607 – The Blackjack

If you’re in the U.S., you’ve probably seen the ads for the Blackjack by now. They’re pretty, sleek and sexy, just like the phone itself. In one, a set of hands shuffles five of the wafer-thin phones, folding them into each other and fanning them as easily as a professional dealer would a deck of cards. In another, a guy plugs in to his headset as he steps into the supermarket, turning his shopping trip into a surreal musical safari. Pretty, sleek and sexy – the ads and the phone. The Blackjack, also known as the SGH-i607, is Samsung’s latest entry into the thin Smartphone sweepstakes, and it is – at this writing anyway – the thinnest yet at 4.4 x 2 x .6”. It features a full QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging and productivity, 3G capability for web browsing, streaming media and downloading games, and a suite of productivity tools that make it easier for you to keep up on things from the road.

Phone Features

It’s not unusual for cell phones to do a lot more than make phone calls these days, but the Blackjack does it (just about) all, and nearly all of it very well. Call quality is generally excellent, even on speaker phone, and connectivity is excellent. The Blackjack is fully compatible with Bluetooth and has the capability to transmit data at up to 14.4mbps for streaming applications and file transfers. Phone features include speakerphone, 3-way and conference calling, caller ID, MP3 ringtones, and an address book that’s only limited by physical space available.

So far, we’ve uncovered some interesting facts about the samsung blackjack phone. You may decide that the following information is even more interesting.

Music and Streaming Capabilities

The Blackjack supports Cingular’s Video and Music service, so you can listen to XM radio, watch video clips and enjoy streamed music and video. You can also import your favorite audio and video files from your personal library in a wide range of supported formats, including MP3, WMA, AAC, WMV and MPEG-4 using the MicroSD card. Who needs an MP3 player when you’ve got one of these?

Camera and Video

The built in 1.3 megapixel camera features a 2X zoom lens and video capability. You can shoot stills in resolutions up to 1280×960, and have a variety of editing and enhancement options, including silly frames and effects. The video selection isn’t quite as wide, but the quality is among the best for camera phones, with almost no pixilation.

OS and Productivity

Blackjack runs Windows Mobile Smartphone edition, where the focus is on productivity and communication. Instead of the MS Office Mobile Suite, you get the Picsel Viewer Suite which allows you to download and view, but not edit, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF files. The OS also includes calendar, task list, contact list, note taker, calculator, stopwatch, world clock and voice recorder. When it comes to communication, though, you get a full range of services – email through Outlook, support for POP3, IMAP and SMTP as well as web browsing for web-based email, AOL, MSN and Yahoo Instant Messaging, and text and multimedia messaging. The biggest disappointment – no integrated WiFi, so unless you’re in Cingular’s 3G network, you’re out of luck on that count.

Design

First, the good news. At .6”, the Blackjack is definitely in the running as an ultra-thin phone. The sleek, all-black case is drop-dead sexy, and the soft touch finish makes the phone easy to hold and handle. The 2.25” display is a bit smaller than the Blackjack’s closest competitors – the Q and the Dash – but the colors are bright, crisp and clear, giving it great readability and outstanding delivery for graphics and video. The navigation innovations include a thumb-wheel and a back button on the side for easier navigation, and the full QWERTY keyboard is nicely backlit so that it’s easy to use even in low light situations.

The bad news is that those pluses come with a few drawbacks. The slimmer design means less room and smaller buttons on the keyboard, making it a bit more difficult to type. The navigation keys are slippery and a bit close together, and it’s easy to accidentally hit End when what you meant to do was scroll to the right. Perhaps the biggest design and usability flaw, however, is Samsung’s decision to use a proprietary port rather than a standard mini-USB. That limits some of your choices, making it impossible to use a mini-USB adapter for charging, or a standard 2.5mm headset.

There’s no doubt that the topic of the samsung blackjack phone can be fascinating. If you still have unanswered questions about the samsung blackjack phone, you may find what you’re looking for in the next article.

I cant plug my electic devices into the outlets in korea!!! please help!!?

Ok, thanks to some extroardinarily bad advice form a guy at radio shaq, i opted not to buy any outlet adapters back in the u.s. for korea. now i am regretting it more than ever. Can anyone please tell me where i can find a store in suwon that sells these damn things? i need them ASAP. i am studying at ajou university and i really really need these damn adapters. PLEASE HELP

the easiest and cheapest way would be for you to ask a Korean native to buy one on the internet for you.

If you haven’t made one yet, harder way:

Occasionally some of the chain department stores will carry the transformers or adapters. Check out the local EMart, Homeever, or Homemart to see if they have them. If they do have them in stock (been hit and miss for me) they’re usually in the aisle with the extension cords/electrical stuff.

Take a little journey, but sure-fire way:
Go to Seoul.
Yongsan Electronics Market and Technomart (Gangbyeong station on green line) for sure will have them. I’ve bought transformers at both places. 30 bucks is a fair price for one. You might have to haggle a bit with the guys there.

good luck!

What fascinates me the most about this multi-eye sports watch is that the make of this model is motivated by Marcus Grönholm. As a former rally car driver, Marcus Grönholm would particularly enjoy the sporty design of this watch. Just notice how the slick design incorporates the ideals of athleticism in the field of watches. There is no doubt in my mind that this watch truly embodies those tr…

Generate Power With Turbines

Pelton Turbines

Pelton turbines work best with heads of 50 feet or more. The high speed jet of water that results from such heads twists the bladed runner up to initiator speed without the need of added hardware. Pelton Runners can be any size from 12 foot width for megawatt installation down to 4 to 18 inch thickness for home installations. Very small surge is mandatory to run a small Pelton turbine, in some cases no more than the water issuing from a reserved spring. The need for a high head, however, confines installations to mountainous places. Also, springs tend to parch up throughout some parts of the year and ice over other parts, so care must be in use to choose a water supply that will provide year-round power. A new improvement in impulse turbines is to orient the jet at an angle to the blades, as in Turgo turbines. These units are smaller and faster than Peltons. Windmills are also a possible option.

Cross-Flow Turbines

Cross-Flow turbines work well when the head is greater than 3 feet. Water from a rectangular chops passes through a barrel-shaped runner in such a way that the water strikes the ring of blades on the runner tow times. This turbine is a comparative new comer; it has not yet been built in megawatt sizes but displays a great deal of security for use in undersized installations. In addition, it’s simple enough for someone with a home machine shop to make; yet it can match the performance of the other turbines whose fabrication requires a high level of technology. It works well over a wide range of water flow, is relatively free from problems caused by silt and trash, and is not affected by cavitation. To improve competence the rectangular orifice can be partitioned and parts of it blocked off during periods of low flow. Some step-up gearing may be needed for optimum generator speed.

Propeller Turbines

Propeller turbines are most efficient at relatively low heads of from 3 to 30 feet. The propeller is fully submerged and is driven more by the dull weight of the water than by the water’s quickness. In high-head installations, propeller turbines undergo wear from cavitation. In addition they work well only over a slim range of tempo, so care is required to equal the size of the turbine to the existing steam flow. For example, when flow drops to 50% of propeller turbines most advantageous, the power production will drop by about 75% and when the flow drops to 30% the output becomes zero. To rise above this constraint some large hydroelectric installations use several turbines in tandem, shutting down on or more whenever the flow lessens. Others employ Kaplan turbines, which have automatically adjustable blades that balance for flow changes.

Francis Turbines

Francis turbines can be used over a broad collection of heads 4 feet and more. As with a propeller turbine, the runner is wrapped up in the head water, which is guided onto the blades of the runner by a ring of adjustable vanes. The Francis turbine is highly efficient at its optimum flow but easily damaged by grit and cavitation. It is regularly used in large hydroelectric stations and is relatively expensive. As with propeller turbines and other interior swamped turbines, a draft tube beneath the unit with its bottom rim immersed at all times in tail water is a valuable adjunct: as water drops from the turbine runner down the draft tube, it sucks more water down with it, adding to the effective head of the system. This added head can be of considerable importance whenever the overall head of the remainder of installation is small.

Obama will also seek to create a new regulator for consumer-oriented financial products.

What do you think?

Is this all the more reason HR 1207 (now with 224 cosponsors) needs to pass to audit the federal reserve?

Restated for those who aren’t willing to read my attempt to shorten the question to the space.

“Wednesday Obama is projected to call to give the Federal Reserve more power, allowing them to oversee the big financial players and to break up systemically important companies.”

What do you think?
Here is the long form story.
