You meant your mother bought some Buddha Statues, Buddhas can’t be bought with money or any worldly procession.
If your statue is make of metal or ceramic and sitting on Double Lotus position, and it wears a five points crown or five protrusions on the crown with Buddha figures etch to it. It meant this Buddha holds the wisdom of five Dhyani Buddhas (Medition Deities).
